2006 Cyclocross Nationals Photos are all up.
I have some shots of Sundays Collegiate Men that are sitting in the "darkroom". Just been too busy to get to them. So if you were in that race, its a pretty sure bet I have your picture. I you want to see it drop me a message or an email - this blog name at mindspring dot com. Let me know what your rider number was, and what you were wearing.
While up there I had had the opportunity to meet and chat with Bill McCarrick. An awesome photographer who's been taking pictures of races around my way for a good while. He's even caught me at a few races here and there, although I'm still much more comfortable behind the glass than in front of it. It was great to have chance to talk shop and pick his brain a bit. This photography thing is sort of a rebirth of an old hobby of mine, I still have a lot to learn.
One thing I am learning is that nothing beats experience. Just have to get out there and take thousands and thousands of shots, pour over them, constantly critiquing things and tweaking your technique.
