19th Annual Tidewater Mountain Bike Challenge Photos here
To flash or not to flash?
Always a dilema when I'm in the woods with my camera. OK, get your mind out of the gutter. Lots of harsh lite and shadows at the Tidewater Mountain Bike Challenge. A flash is nice to be SURE you get the subject lit, but the result is more natural if you are lucky enough to hit it without one.
R.Suydam railing a turn in an attempt to repeat as the Virginia State Single Speed Champion.
More pictures will be up by 9PM tonight. I'll post a link. All shots were taken between 10:30 and 11:15AM, before I left for the Chimborazo Cross Race.
Nice to catch Wes on the OTHER side of the lens. Diffuse flash here to fight the backlight.
