Caught the very tail end of the Mens C race, then got a bunch of shots of the Mens AB.















More harsh early afternoon light. The shots down in the single track section will be a bit grainy. I had to step on 'em a bunch to tame the nasty shadows.

To flash or not to flash?


Always a dilema when I'm in the woods with my camera. OK, get your mind out of the gutter. Lots of harsh lite and shadows at the Tidewater Mountain Bike Challenge. A flash is nice to be SURE you get the subject lit, but the result is more natural if you are lucky enough to hit it without one.
